Derbyshire County Scouts Carsington Challenge

April 10th 2011 saw 11 cubs from the 4th Derby join approx 500 other cubs at Carsington for an 8 mile walk around the reservoir. They had previously all had a go at making a flag for the day and our GSL chose two special ones that we put back to back and laminated, attached to a Scout stave and turned it into a flag. Each Cub took it in turns to carry it during the walk. Even though the Cubs are all quite small they all managed the walk in hot temperatures and with little complaining. Here are some of the photo's from the walk including a group one before we started.

Well done to all of those that took part.
