Presentation of the Harold Winfield trophy.

Harold Winfield was a former member of the 4th Derby family and was one of the many helpers that built the groups HQ. Sadly Harold passed away a few years ago but he donated some money to help keep the group going and because of that we decided that it would be fitting to name an award in his name so that we never forget him. We already had a Scout award and a Group award so it was decided that it would be a Cub award. Harold's daughter sent an old Scout trophy of Harold's in the post for us to use but sadly it got damaged during transit, so the group decided to buy a new trophy in its place.

It is now awarded to the Cub that attains the most points over the year. The points are awarded for inspection, activities and some games.

The winner of the award for 2010 was Sophie Weaver and the picture below shows the presentation (it was hoped to present it at our Group Birthday but unfortunately the trophy wasn't ready.
